History repeats itself twice, once as tragedy, and once as farce. The plot is completely similar to the first Rocky: the reigning champion needs a victory over Balboa to improve his rating (Balboa’s history, of course, he does not know). Naturally, the expectation of an easy victory, as before. A tired film about a tired Rocky, a tired son of Rocky, a tired friend of Rocky, a tired dog of Rocky, a tired champion, a tired Mike Tyson. The only thing better than before was the fight itself. It is much better than in the first parts. That's where the pros end.
